I think you're a little confused, IMC. Ann Curry reported the story your talking about and she didn't say anything about "eas[ing] the pain for Americans at the gas pumps."

So you're claiming that John McCain won't vote for a bill that has earmarks in it. Are you sure about that?

And seldom anymore suicide bombings? Is that the level we're willing to accept now? We're trumpeting the fact that it doesn't suck as bad as it used to? I don't know about anybody else, but even a few bombings are too many. There were three bombings yesterday and at least one the day before. That's too many in my book.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Bombs in two parked cars detonated in western Baghdad on Wednesday in quick succession, killing eight people and wounding 25 others, an Interior Ministry official said.

Baghdad was also struck by a series of roadside bombings that killed two people and wounded 16 others, the official said.

The double car bombing happened outside a hospital in the Harthiya district shortly before noon, the official said. The two cars were parked close together.

It was the second twin car bomb attack in Baghdad this week. On Monday, two car bombs detonated in central Baghdad, killing 12 people and wounding 37 others.

Five roadside bombings struck the Iraqi capital Wednesday, one of which targeted a New Baghdad district council leader, the official said. The council leader's driver was killed, and he and his security guard were wounded in the attack.

Another roadside bombing in eastern Baghdad killed an Iraqi policeman and wounded five others.

Two other roadside bombings in the capital wounded nine Iraqi soldiers and civilians.

For those keeping track, that's eight bombings just today.

For your information spin doctor it WAS Brian Williams reporting that story and I watched and listened to it with my own eyes and ears. Now you're calling me a liar. I don't take to kindly to that. Maybe Ann reported a similar story at some other time but Brian (I don't have clue)  Williams is the one that said that. Like it or not!

More spin from the spin doctor on what I said about McCain too. I did NOT say he won't vote for a bill with a pork. I said he didn't vote for the military appropriations bills because of withdrawal language, pork and piece meal amnesties for illegal aliens. Now who is the one that is confused?

Now you're going to spin the success we have had in Iraq too? If you think that it is bad in Iraq because we had three car bombings take place in the last month I suggest you take a look at how many were occurring a couple years ago before the surge. Maybe three bombings are too much but it is still a heck of a lot less than were taking place 2 or 3 years ago. And how many times has America been attacked since we started fighting that war? That's right, a big fat 0, zero, notta, zilch, none. Bush told us it would be a long hard battle but he vowed to keep this country safe from terrorist attacks and he has done just that. I would love to see the mainstream media give him credit for keeping us safe for 7 years running. What did Clinton do when we were attacked? Nothing and we were attacked again. So he once again did nothing and we were attacked again. So he once again did nothing and we were attacked again. And he still did nothing. Then along came Bush and we were attacked again but his time Bush fought back and the bully went away. Facts, deal with them!

Here's another fact you can smoke on for awhile. Since 9/11 62,000 Americans have been killed in the continental US by illegal aliens. Only a little more than 3,000 Americans have lost their lives in Iraq. That means it is actually safer for an American to live in Iraq today then it is to live in the United States. That my friend is pathetic!

Car bombings and roadside bombings are hardly suicide bombings, haysus. There was that, as the point you like to keep avoiding!
