Thanks to your boy for his service and to you for sharing the story.  It's especially good to hear about the efforts of a few of his teachers through the years. 

In honor of all of you, I will pop a cold frosty beverage this evening. 

Your son, his comrads at arms and their families are in my constant prayers. I salute all and hope your visit with him is great. As for the teachers, rubbing it in the face of a naysayer is one of lifes greatest pleasures. Showing those that supported him is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.

I too will hoist a few in his honor.

I HAVE BEEN OFF THE BEER FOR QUITE A WHILE BUT i AM GOING TO HAVE ONE TODAY AFTER HEARING THIS GOOD NEWS.
