Now that my son is a Marine, I can take him back to Central middle school and confront the teacher that said he would never amount to anything. Thank goodness I'm not mentioning her name!?
Thank goodness my son had a FEW teachers that were good and took the TIME to teach my son properly. I took the time to teach him, they took the time to fill in the blanks.
His first teacher that was awesome and went above and beyond her duty was Mrs. Ward. His 5th grade teacher from Madison. Not only was Mrs.Ward an excellant teacher, but I cannot say enough for Madison school. Madison school's staff is patient and competant. You can call anytime of the day and they can tell you what room your child is in....and they do it without an attitude.
His third teacher who made a difference in his life was Mr. Tommetiche (sp?) aka Mr.T from the high school. This teacher went above and beyond to teach my boy and even set him up with jobs outside of school. I can't thank Mr.t enough for all that he taught my boy.
I thank Mrs. Ward and Mr. T for helping me raise my son into the Marine he is today. I give them a big credit for helping me raise my boy into the man he is today.
And the Marines finished him off to be a man who will defend our country and our freedom.
