It's not about getting people registered to vote it's about being able to register at the polling place, on election day with absolutely NO identification or proof you are who you say you are or that you are even a citizen. That was set up intentionally that way so illegal aliens can vote and who will they vote for? Why, Democrats of course because they are the ones wanting to give them amnesty and our S.S money.

Obviously you don't understand how this works so allow me to direct you to this handy-dandy training video from the Iowa Secretary of State's website. It explains everything about same day registration much nicer than I would. As you'll see, it's not quite as devious as you've been lead to believe. There are plenty of stipulations as well as fines and punishments for false information.

I did not watch the training video I admit. My question is this - so if the person gives false information- how soon do these fines and punishments occur? They already voted- their vote is counted. My problem with same day registration/voting is this: where the he@@ have they been - under a rock? Why could they not register before? If that person suddenly realized that they need to vote in an election - how much thought have they given to the candidates? Do they even know who is running? Another thing that bothers me - many states want people to be able to register/vote without showing a picture ID? Pray tell, what CAN you do without a picture ID and just how hard is it to get a picture ID? This campaign has been going on FOREVER - they surely have heard about it. After the election they will be yelling that they were disenfranchised. BOGUS!
