That's the very same argument Obama and the other "socialists" have used as a reason to get out of Iraq. As long as we stay, the Iraqis have no "incentive to become self-motivated and earn things for themselves."

I agree the Iraqi's should have been given ultimatums from the beginning based on achievable and verifiable goals.  This is why "something for nothing" never, ever works.  Which is why Obama will either not get elected, or fail miserably if he does.  He will be the direct opposite of Bush and fail for all of the opposite reasons, but fail he will.

I believe we did give them benchmarks, no? Of course, we see how well that has worked.

As for Obama not getting elected or failing, only time will tell. At least he's not going to be Bush v.3.

And I love the way they try to stack the deck in their favor when elections are upcoming. Similar to the same day voter registration they passed in Iowa. They know which party these things will help.

For decades, anyone convicted of a felony cannot vote in Virginia. If you are convicted of a felony you lose your rights to own a handgun or vote to name a few. There are over 250,000 convicted felons living in Virginia.

Now Virginia is considered a "swing state" for Barack Obama. It could make or break the election.

Guess what the bottom-feeding filth Democrats of Virgina are doing? You guessed it!

Now that they have Obama for a candidate, they want to give felons the right to vote. This isn't just the little politicians working on this. Virginia governor Kane is trying to get this passed in time for the November election.

I wonder what it is that makes them think that felons would vote for a Democrat? Hmmmmmm!
