I totally agree with you on the abortion. Question I have is, What if that 50 year old man was a movie idol, a multi-millionaire? I bet then, it suddenly wouldn't be so newsworthy.

sounds just like Waco, good thing they was not armed. the abortion thing, the only thing I want to say is; maybe we ought to make many other options for these women and then maybe more would make a different choice. you know like make it easy to give up one's child to some one else. waiting list of wanting mothers. mass media on the different ways to deal with pregnancy. there are tons of ways to help people make better choices. why not have churches set up groups to help these women. we have mothers struggling to adopt babies and mothers getting abortions why can't we get these women together. set it up through non-profit and just let the churches take care of these ladies. yeah I said it. i'm out movie is starting.

I'm having more and more trouble believing this raid was all about child abuse. It's odd that a government that legalized the murder of unborn children is so concerned about child abuse. The real child abuse started when authorities seperated mothers from their children. These people drew attention to themselves because- 1. They were different. They believed differently, dressed and looked different. 2. They thrived. Their sect had a school, industries and farms. No welfare, no charity. just old fashioned hard work. That fact alone would scare the snot out of most hard core liberals, should the idea catch on. Amish, take note. 3. So far, little to no real evidence has emerged. Where are the whitnesses? The accusers? There has been some vague reference to a "plant" within the sect. From my viewpoint, it would be very easy to manufacture a case against these, or anyone. Yell "child abuse" and you got everyone's attention. Feed morsels of misinformation to the media and let them try and convict your target group. |

There was child abuse going on there. There's lots of evidence. Several of the adult women reportedly "left the sect voluntarily" once they were in safe hands. Of course there are not going to be a flock of witnesses and accuseres, most of those people would be quickly weeded out from the tightly controlled sect. Others were brainwashed at a young age that this is how we do things, that you should marry old men at young ages and that you should do whatever the profit tells you otherwise god would hate you. I doubt they had unlimited access to CNN or YouTube in there. |
