Anybody who thinks that there was no abuse going on in that cult needs to get their head screwed on a little better. First of all, if they had nothing they hide why would they be so secretive? You don't see any normal christian churches, buddhist temples, not letting visitors in to learn about their beliefs.

Second, this has been covered many times before, with real people alleging abuse - why do you think their 'prophet' is in jail right now? Because he's a sick creature.

I would have loved more drastic responses by police, preferably sooner, even. 

Like Waco maybe? The police couldn't save the kids so they killed them.

Question I have is, why were the kids and moms seperated?

Secretive? I remember BOS and city council meetings that were 'closed door'.

Another problem I have. If someone has an agenda that won't fly on it's own merit, a simple way to gain tons of support is to claim said agenda will "protect children".

I've seen it done by the tobacco nazis.

I've seen it done by the gun control nazis.

It's being done by the "Your kid is too fat" nazis.

"Protect our children. Just do as we say".

We pound it into our kids "just say no to drugs".

Teachers complain my kid is too active or noisy.

"We got drugs for that".

Teachers complain my kid won't pay attention, (because the class is too long and boring, maybe).

"We got a drug for that".

"We got counsolers".

When I went to school we had teachers.
