Just heard that we are getting another gentleman's club and sports lounge. It's going to be where Stiletto's was. I anticipate that there will be much less activity on this board on Friday and Saturday nights.

 We need a good, old fashioned adult drinking establishment. The kind with stuffed deer heads and fish on the walls, large screen TV showing nothing but huntin' & fishin' shows, no ball sports allowed, free snacks on the bar, free lunch to drinkers at least one day a week, several pool tables, no juke box, no women, no yuppies or suits.  |

Sounds very much like the barber shops of old. A place where young men went to get a haircut on Sat. with dad and got an education in being a man at the same time. Where the kid learned about life in general, how to keep a secret, where to look for the big buck, catch the biggest fish and looked at his first palyboy mag or true detective mag. REmember the smells of barbershops of old. Great memories to many of us.
As for a new "gentelmans club"--what is gentelemanlly about looking at totally nekid women? And what is lady like about the "Ladies?" It will turn onto aslaughterhouse like the one before and close quicklly--with a little luck that is. |
