paintlady34 Valued Neighbor Muscatine,Ia 61 Posts	I am a non smoker and really don't like the smell of cigarettes or pipes etc. BUT I don't feel it is right that those folks that do smoke are being told where they can do it. Little by little our rights are being taken away and I don't like that at all. It is smoking now, what is gonna be next that they try to force on us ? tommilder Respected Neighbor Muscatine, Ia 461 Posts	In the face of seemingly overwhelming opposition, I'm going to disagree with this bill. Reversing the segregation part is only the first bad move - the rest if exempting ANYWHERE. Smoking is bad and it has been proven that secondhand smoke causes all sorts of health problems. I, a nonsmoker, should under no conditions have to endure you're smoke. You argue about freedom, but I also have the right to freedom, the right to clean air, the right to breathe oxygen without over four hundred chemicals mixed in. We should ban smoking in all public places Ryan, I AGREE with you WHEN: Vehicle and Factory pollution is treated in the same manner. And since there are BILLIONS of bucks behind BOTH endtities, that'll NEVER happen! And, I might add, WATER POLLUTION. You want to be Mayor some day, you MIGHT want to study up on what these 3 things do to our health AND enviroment. Tom. March 13th 2008 Report Reply
