BEEN NOTICING LATELY THAT AN OFFICER LIKES TO SIT AT HYINKS STANDARD UP THE HILL FROM THE BRIDGE WHERE HIS FRIENDS WORK WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO COME BY EXCEEDING THE SPEED LIMIT. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT PEOPLE SPEED UP TO CLIMB A HILL, IS IT LEGAL TO SIT OFF THE SIDE OF THE STREET AT THE TOP OF THAT HILL AND THEN STOP THEM FOR SPEEDING BEFORE THEY CAN RETURN TO SPEED LIMIT? IF IT IS LEGAL, THEN SPREAD THE WORD AND BEWARE OF EAST SECOND STREET NEAR HYINKS STANDARD. JUST SOME ADVICE IS ALL.

Uh. it's only a "trap" if you have been caught. Some times the cops do catch and release and other times "ticket". It's that simple. You get a ticket.......pay the fine or take it to court. Si Habla?

Hey crk... I have a son that is learning to drive. I ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, want him to see the police & follow the speed limit! TRUST ME ON THIS... I will be letting him drive this route & as we pass that officer...point & say, "SEE, had you been speeding, bud, you would be pulled over"! Wouldn't it be cool if our officers could "catch a driver doing the right thing & ticket them for that"? Wouldn't it be cool if a Journal reporter rode w/ an officer while doing this & reported exactly how many residents of our town were safe drivers? Just a thought! |
