What I'm calling conspiracy theory is the notion that Bush will take over and declare himself supreme ruler or something. Thanks to the structure of our government, this won't happen without the use of massive weaponry and extreme violence. Play the conspiracy game all you want, it's fun. But it's not going to happpen.

More likely is that Bush will leave office and live out his life within the same bubble in which he presided. Thus allowing himself to believe that he accomplished something worthwhile while our next president(s) spend a vast majority of their time cleaning up his mess.

Not even realistic

This kind of conspiracy theory is on par with that Rush and the gang pushed during the Clinton administration. Our government is not going to be taken over from the inside by some secret Bush/Cheney cabal. He's a completely ineffective leader, yes, but he's not trying to secretly take over the country. This isn't Pinky and the Brain. Methinks you guys have been watching too many movies and cartoons.
