Here in Iowa

You do have to search for work to get your check, or that's what they call it. All you have to do is go around and collect signatures. I get more people come into the store and want me to sign their paper so they can get their check. It doesn't matter that I am not looking for help or that they didn't fill out an application, just so they get X number of signatures they get paid. What a bull sh!t system. You really don't have to look for work, just give the appearance you are. I don't sign them and they get all mad at me. Nothing personal but I disagree with the system. Look for jobs in places that are actually looking to hire.
