The Kiwanis Club of Green Mountain was chartered by Kiwanis International on November 24, 1975, and is a club of Division 14 in the Rocky Mountain District. Our purpose and objective is to promote service, friendship, and understanding among persons in Lakewood and throughout the world.
Our club members are business and professional men and women, active or retired, age eighteen or older who are interested in community service. All members are expected to take part in some of the activities and work projects, on a talent and interest basis. If interested in our Kiwanis club, please contact us. A prospective member is encouraged to attend a minimum of two meetings before his/her name is submitted by the sponsor for membership.
Our club meets weekly on Monday at 7:30 A.M. at The Den at Fox Hollow Golf Course, 13410 Morrison Road, Lakewood, Colorado. Our meetings convene on time and adjorn promptly at 8:30 A.M. Meetings are opened with a song, the pledge of allegiance to the flag, and an invocation. The last half of the meeting features a speaker on topics of interest to club members. The Board of Directors meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. Attendance at Board meetings is encouraged for club members and is counted as a make-up meeting for those seeking perfect attendance.
