IMPACT serves many purposes. One of those purposes is being able to assist the area in the event of a disaster. Other purposes include severe weather spotter alert, assisting law enforcement with safety patrols, and monitoring CB radio channel 9 for motorists needing assistance.
Assisting Salvation Army
IMPACT also assists the Salvation Army with the holiday season Kettle Run, and assisting with the ''canteen unit'' during the Holiday Stroll.
