I don't think any of Frenchtown Woods entrance's look presentable!Look at the other neighborhood entrance's, they are maintained thoughout the summer with beautiful flowers, mulched and weeded!  And let's remember we don't have just one entrance!

It would be nice and colorful but I believe the problem is people voluntering and the fact that we have some teen agers in the neighbor hood whom think it is ok to distroy things that don't belong to them.  I feel the entrances look nice compared to the way some of the yards look in our neighborhood.  We seam  to have many people who think that overgrown weeds is a flower garden.  Its sad because it just lowers our property values.  If this is what the out side look like I don't want to see the inside.  If you are spending this kind of money for your home you would think there would be more pride taken in what your home looks like.  Undecided

I know this reply comes 4 months shy of the original but, I had to say something about this concern.  I am appalled by the ignorance of some of our residents regarding the guardrail.  Has anyone stopped to think of its main purpose?  This guardrail was put there to protect human lives!  When that "resident" of our community hit that house, he could have killed someone.  The terror that family most of experienced that evening and there after must have been unexplainable.  The car went into their finished basement and literally impacted their family room.  Not to mention, that their children could have been in the basement at that time.  Yes, I agree that the guardrail is rusted but, I believe the owners of that home had to fight hard for that guardrail to be placed there.   Why hasn't someone volunteered to paint it if it is such an eye sore???  Or why hasn't the Maintenance Association painted it???  Bottom line, the guardrail was put there for a purpose and that is so a family can sleep at night now!!!  I agree planting bushes on the outside of the guardrail would look nice but bushes will not protect lives.  If you ask me, another one should go across the street to protect that family from those speeders who fly in and out of our community.
