Not much on the Gladden bulletin board.... can we expect an update soon??
Made a visit to my old neighborhood just before Christmas and had a chat with an old friend and was saddened to hear of his mother's passing. She was my next door neighbor and quite a woman.... outspoken at times and we had our moments of difference of opinion. Those moments were very rare and I still held her in high regard.
I still stop by on occasion, but only during daylight hours. Sad...and I remember walking to Herbert's or Gleason's no matter what hour it was, as long as they were open for business. It looks like the thugs have been allowed to take over...too many people preying on each other.
Time for me to take a look at the new board here at neighborhoodlink and see what may have been lost in the move.
