The East Village is a well integrated neighborhood, by both people and architecture. Beautiful old buildings sit comfortably next to modern condominium developments and townhomes. Costs are moderate to somewhat expensive. The neighborhood has great restaurants and excellent shopping as well as a vibrant nightlife. Residents find it very easy to get around by bike or on foot as well as own cars, with plenty of free parking available.
