Do Something!
Why do we sit back, complain and not get off our butts and do something?
When you hear budget cuts from State, City and County Government officials, you know the new fee's are on their way. New revenue sources must and will be found. Government rarely operate within budget, they always have cost overuns, they just find new ways to raise money. And where does that money come from? Well not out of the thin air, but out your pockets and mine.
What can you do? to help your community get the services we all pay for? Stand up! be a part of your neighborhood block clubs, be a part of your local PTA, be a part of your local Chamber of Commerce, be a part of something positive and progressive with your best interest at heart. Organized groups give us the power as individuals to actually make a difference in the big picture. When you are a part of a progressive organized unit your voices are stronger as a unit group.
So as the cuts come down, and you lose more and more services, perhaps you will feel the need to actually get off your butts and do something! Get mad, upset, make your collective voices be heard. If you won't? who will?
