Casa de Amparo - ''House of Refuge''. Casa provides safe shelter (for children) and a continuum of prevention and treatment service to abused, neglected and at risk infants, children and teens and their families in San Diego. Casa seeks to prevent and reduce the abuse and neglect of children by developing and providing shelter, education, treatment and support to children and their families in San Diego County. Casa is committed to collaborative use of resources which are culturally sensitive and targeted to reduce behaviors which endanger children.
