CFNBA BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL OFFICERS

MAURICE RICHARD HOPKINS
Maurice Richard Hopkins is the first President of CFNBA BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL.

He is the Owner/Operator of Four/For Men Afield. He served 20 years in the U. S. Marine Corp.

Maurice has a broad background that has taken him to different parts of the world. His professional work and volunteerism includes:
 Communications in Instructional Television and Radio – Producer, Projectionist, Telegraph Operator, Consumer Affairs and News Department

 Human Relations
 Race Relations
 Loan/Insurance/Securities
 Vista and Community Volunteerism
 Entrepreneurship – Tourism

He is being asked to lead this Council of broadly experienced practitioners in a BOLD, INNOVATIVE and SUCCESSIVE WAY.

Maurice will utilizing his human relations, public relations, entrepreneur, business, training, volunteerism, love for fishing, and his radio and television communication skills to fulfill his roles and responsibilities.

He will guide the Council in creating revenue streams for support of operations, activities and initiatives of CFNBA.

He is a connoisseur of fishing. He is married and has a daughter. He was born and raised in Milwaukee.


JO ANNE CARTER-HAUSER
Jo Anne Carter-Hauser is the first Vice President – Education of CFNBA BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL.

Jo Anne is the Educational/Technical Consultant of CHOSEN – Carter-Hauser Optimal Services for Educational Needs, LLC. She is the consummate Educator that has worked in the business environment and retired from Ameritech after 18 years of service. Her experience in the education arena includes instruction in public schools, a technical college, and a four-year college.

She has experience in many disciplines and as a consultant provides technical assistance in:
 Employee Management Relations
 Business Accounting Procedures
 Specialized Teaching and Learning
 Curriculum Development
 School Systems & Classroom Learning Communities

She will provide leadership for the Council in training and education of its merchant constituents and the community at-large.

She will guide the Council in creating "Certificated" Business Basic Seminars and Workshops for internal and external training; as well as, create a Mentoring Training Program for Economic Development that includes proactive use of Brownfields and Historic Preservation.

Jo Anne will also spearhead the development of scholar-membership and certification for BI-Coastal Development Consortium, A Think Tank and CFNBA Neighborhood Gardener Volunteer Program.

Jo Anne was selected for Volunteerism – Think Tank in CFNBA’s 2005 Who’s Who Gala, January 28, 2005.

She is married, has a daughter and two grandchildren. She was born in Milwaukee.

JOHNNY MOUTRY, Jr.
Johnny Moutry, Jr. is the first Vice President – Economic Development of CFNBA BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL.

Johnny is the Executive Director of New Covenant Housing Corporation, Inc. He has held that position since 1988. His progressive and successful development of affordable housing has won him many accolades for service rendered. He was named "Neighborhood Developer of the Year" – in CFNBA’s 2005 Who’s Who Gala, January 28, 2005.

His growth as a developer is most impressive. In fact, his housing development projects, have been cited as one of the reasons for decreasing crime in the area of development.

Some of his projects are:
 PARKWEST PHASE I - $4.1 million dollar multi-family affordable housing project

 PARKWEST PHASE II - $4.2 million dollar multi-family affordable housing project that includes 34 townhouse-style rental units and a community building.

 URBAN LEAGUE and EDISON SCHOOL - $3.2 million dollar renovation project.

 BOULEVARD COMMONS and BOULEVARD ROW – Acquisition of Finney Library and neighboring properties - pending project.

He is a Retired Chemist. He is married and has a daughter.

Johnny will provide the Council with expertise and guidance that will help guide internal and public policies, business development, business financing, housing development, big box projects, recreation/entertainment projects, job development, and Smart Growth development unique to the Inner City for present and long-term growth through land use. It includes historic preservation, green space development and proactive uses of brownfields.

Additionally, his guidance for the Council will be crucial in physical developments that include:

>>>Johnsons Park Concession Stand
>>>Johnsons Park Jazz & Blues Pavilion

BILL HOFFMANN
Bill Hoffmann is the General Manager of Graceland Cemetery and Union Cemeteries. Bill holds a degree in Management and Supervision. He has made it his life's wokr to trying to excel at delivering excellent customer service in a variety of settings. Among his accomplishments are:

* Project Manager of three new construction projects at Graceland Cemetery, including a new office building.

* Partner with WMCS to create advertising that educates the community about the value of pre-arranged funeral services.

* Work with local veteran groups to provide Memorial Day Service, giving the public an opportunity to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

* Development of long-range planning for unused cemetery land. The emphasis being to provide affordable services whileconinuing to create a park-like environment for the public good.

His experiences include restaurant management, General Manager of a large commercial cleaning company, and volunteer DJ at a local Christian radio station.

Bill is married with three grown children. His passions are serving, seeking a deeper faith, running, cross-crountry skiing, hiking and learning.

We look forward to Bill sharing and planning for Wellness and Safety.

We are proud of our NEW COUNCIL and look forward to the outstanding leadership services that the officers will bring to the Inner City of Milwauke, Wisconsin.

CFNBA BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL is authorized through the structure of CNI/Fondy North Business Association.
