Smart Growth is a NATIONAL MANDATE for comprehensive plans to be developed by 2010.

This is a national organization that gathers information and shares with the public.

It has partners and members all over the United States.

Campaign Neighborhood - CFNBA is a member.

We will provide information on this website about state and national events and processes.

WISCONSIN STATE STATUTE
Wisconsin State Statute 1001 is in place for the creation of "COMPREHENSIVE PLANS" that meet state standards.

There are 9 sets of uniform state standards for a comprehensive plan. They are:

1. Issues and Opportunities
2. Housing
3. Transportation
4. Utilities and Community Facilities
5. Agricultural, natural, and cultural resources
6. Economic Development
7. Intergovernmental Cooperation
8. Land-Use
9. Implementation
