A 30 unit condominium building at the northwest end of South Beach nestled along the east end of the Venetian Causeway just south of Island View (Maurice Gibb) Park.  All units are relatively large one bedroom and face Biscayne Bay with a North West View.  The west corner units also have a southern and east view with nice views of Sofi, the cruise ships channeling government cut and Star Island.  Sunsets for all at night and Sunrises for those on the east side corner units are just some of the special feautres for the residents here.  Easy walking distance directly to Lincoln Road where one can access many great restaurants, movie cinemas, theaters and cafes as well as a variey of stores and services for locals such as Epicure, Ace Hardware and Publix to name only a few.

The condo was contructed in 1965 and incorporated as a non-profit condominium charter in 1966.  The first residents were primarily retirees from the Brookyln and New York areas, however, through the years as with most condos in the South Beach area, there has been significant turn over of residents which has now created an ecletic atmosphere of artists, professionals, service workers, pensioners, etc. as well as the young and old from all corners of the planet.   South Beach still maintains a predominantly latin flair with plenty of diversity to go around and a  place that has been popular with the gay community for years.  All and all, the Bonne Vie condominium is a wonderful micocosm of the greater South Beach community.
