Please be aware that several cars in the neighborhood were broken into last night (Dec. 20). 

Can someone please inform me how to find out who our block captain is?  We have never received anything with any contact information etc.

I am one of the Neighborhood Watch Area Captains, and I have that information.  But unless I know which block of which street you are on, I can not tell you who your Block Captain is and I can not post his or her name on here.  At the time I posted this, you had not emailed the mayor with your contact information.  You may contact me at pajowm99@gmail.com and get the information also, but only if you give me your name, address, phone number, and email address - you could be pretending to be a resident.

A number of people have posted on here that they have never received any contact information.  If you live in a block that has a Block Captain,  I do not understand why you are not aware of who your Block Captain is.  The blocks that have captains all contacted their neighbors or left notices if no one answered the door.  Not all blocks have captains .

Neighborhood Watch works ONLY if neighbors take care of neighbors. 

UPDATE:  Vehicles were broken into last night (Tuesday, December 20 or early Wednesday, December 21) in the 200 block of Dorchester. the 100 block of Southampton,and Woodcleft Road.  There may have been others but nothing specific has been reported.  The police were called in all three reported incidents.

Please alert your neighbors and ask them to remove valuables, all types of keys, and garage door openers from vehicles parked outside.  Please call 911 and then your Neighborhood Watch Block Captain if you see susicious or on-going criminal activity.
