City of Bellemeade

I never knew all of that and I have been around here for a lifetime.  What do our Metro taxes pay for?  It is my understanding that our Metro taxes pay for police protection but I am hard pressed to know what else.  Utilities come from separate entities.  The school board and JCTA ruin eduation  .. oops run education. 

Why is Larry trying to contract with Graymore-Devondale for police protection?  He has not bothered to explain his reasoning.  I might agree with him if he explained why.  But, in the absence of any such communication, I can not see the logic since LMPD seems to be responsive.  Seems like he has had ample opportunity to tell us why he wants to rent a cop since several posters have taken him to task over it.  Then again he seems to be wary of public debate. 

By the way, why is the agenda for commission meetings not posted in advance?  He always says come to the meetings and you'll fund out.  Post the agenda on this site well in advance and maybe we would.

I would also like to know why the other streets in Bellemade / Moorgate are not

scraped. I saw a single car accident this afternoon just before 2pm at the intersection of Charing Cross and South Hampton. A vehicle slid off the road

into a resident's yard. No one was injured - thank goodness but don't part of our tax dollars pay for snow removal ? Perhaps this could have been avoided.

Are we more preared for this one?

The streets are set to be plowed after we have received at least 2 inches.
