Interested in Making a Difference in a Child?’s Life?
Individuals within the Wilmington Optimist Club are currently in the process of forming a new civic organization. This organization will be geared to helping the youth of our community.
The organization will be known as the Bear Optimist Club and will be part of the Optimist International Organization.
Optimist International uses a positive approach with an upbeat outlook to fulfill its?’ motto ?“Bringing Out the Best in Kids?”! Optimist International is currently in the process with the IRS of being granted the 501(C)3 status.
Members of Optimist clubs are all volunteers.
A solid Optimist club is made up of a diversity of individuals; parents, business people, teachers, and those interested in making the difference in the lives of children.
