There was an incredible amount of tagging on Cherokee from 2nd Ave down to Bayaud and over to Elati this weekend. The tagging ran the gamut of garage doors, garages, fences, houses and automobiles. I was very glad to see that most neighbors cleaned up the graffiti on Sunday. I made a call into the graffiti hotline to get some places cleaned up (720-865-7867). The tags were from KCK (Krazy Chick Krew). I only hope that the police stop this brazen activity soon. Help keep our neighborhood clean.

I am glad that most neighbors cleaned up the graffiti quickly. It is not a fun task, but has often proven to be an effective way to slow it down or stop it. The Denver Public Works department sent me some forms that can be filled out which will authorize the City to remove graffiti from property. You can pre-authorize so city crews can sometimes remove before neighbors know they have been tagged. I will bring the forms to the next BHNA meeting.
