Dogs Barking

I read your response and agree that children and dogs are part of life. However, when the dogs barking is driving you insane - than there is a huge problem. There is a dog that lives across from the playground that constantly barks with a huge obnoxiously loud sound that echoes through the backyards. I wake up to the dog - I go to sleep with the dog. That is not right or fair. This is a new dog to the neighborhood in the last year and it has been unbearable. It used to be a quiet neighborhood...not anymore. The owner is being rude and inconsiderate!

Barking dogs

There is a dog on Shrewsbury drive. It is a German sheppard. he is out constantly and barks. This is rude and other dogs in the neighborhood are being blamed for the barking. I am a dog owner. My dog does bark but I let him in immediatley. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do as the law states that it is only a problem if it is after 11:00 p.m. or before 6:00 am. You can call the police if it is after 11:00 pm. Maybe a letter to the owner???

To all who are complaining about the annoyance of dog barking, there are really two options you can use to try to remedy the situation. As a previous poster stated, local police can be notified if the dog barking occurs before 6:00 am or after 11:00 pm. Or, you can place an anonymous phone call or email to our management company (BC Consulting) to ask our representative to send a standard letter to the homeowner at the address where the dog resides. The letter is simply a ''courtesy'' request for the homeowner to address the problem, because no legal or by-law enforcement is possible. The contact information is below:

Dog is still howling

Have you been able to contact the owner? The dog is outside and has been all day and is howling. The owners are inside their home and not bringing him in. It is absolutely insane! I cannot believe how rude they are being. They live directly across from the playground.
