About our Family

We are a happy family of four. Myself, my husband John and the two boys Kevin and Hunter. Kevin is 13 yrs. old and loves sports. He is partial to baseball although he enjoys many different athletic activites. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kevin is in 8th grade and attends Hurst Junior High. Hunter is 4 yrs. old friend or foe to everyone depending on wether or not he has had a nap. When it comes to our two dogs Zena and Zues he is always their friend. Hunter loves our dogs probably more than he loves us. Hunter attends pre-school at Life Fellowship Church in Hurst. Our extended family members and Hunters best friends are a boxer that is a ball of energy names Zena and a Boston Terrier (Zues) that thinks he's 5 ft. wide and 50 ft. tall. John is originally from Austin and i'm from Houston and we finally found our way to Fort Worth. Our family enjoys going to the movies (especially the drive-in in Granbury), traveling, camping, eating out, waterparks and riding our bikes around the neighborhood in the evening. So, if you see us riding by give us a wave. Who knows, we may even get a chance to stop and chat.

We love to travel. We try to take two vacations a year. In June, we spent a week on Lake Conroe. Although we did not go far, we had a awesome time. I highly recommend Captiva or Sanibal Island for a vacation getaway. It appeals to shoppers, the party people and those looking to just get away and relax. We had a wonderful time and never even needed to leave the island. In past years we visited Disneyworld, Washington D.C. and many of the bordering states for vacations long and short. If you have a great vacation getaway to share and is reasonable in price, please let me know. I am always looking for a new place to go. In Oklahoma near Turner Falls we stayed at a place called Buffalo Gap. The log cabins were great and the price was right. They have buffalo roaming the property and you can even bring your dogs (and horses if you have some).
Last year John and I had our first trip away from our children in 13 years. We spent a week in Jamaica and enjoyed the time so much, we turned around and went back to Cozumel by ourselves. We hope to head to The Ozark mountains next. If you stayed in Arkansas and was really pleased, i'd love to know where!

Progressive Dinner

Should anyone be interested in attending a progressive dinner or having one, please email me. I am interested in getting to know a lot more of my neighbors and feel that a progressive dinner would be a great way to do it.
