Welcome
Welcome! We are the 79th New York Co. ''B''. Formerly a part of Boy Scouting,and a part of Civil War Reenacting. We have been in existence for 7 years, and have participated in many History related events.
We are a co-ed group, and welcome all to participate with us in our Hobby.
We have been featured (july 1998) in Boy's Life magazine, and also in (winter 1998)Camp Chase Gazette (a reenactors magazine).
We are also currently constructing a site at www.79thny-highlanders.com that will allow us to demonstrate our hobby a bit more effectively.

The Trail is coming
But unfortunately not to us yet. Construction will begin on a section t0 extend from Belleair Road to behind Bright House Field. Groundbreaking will be on Monday, November 6 at 10 a.m.
