Community Code Enforcement (CCE)

Thursday, January 17th at 6:00pm at the Wrigley Community Police

I would like to invite all those interested in becoming a Community Code Enforcement (CCE) Block Captain to attend the Neighborhood Advisory Group meeting for a brief orientation meeting about the program on :
Thursday, January 17th at 6:00pm
at the Wrigley Community Police Center, 2023 Pacific Ave.

Code Enforcement inspector/supervisor, Karl Wiegelman will explain the CCE program details and roles of a CCE Block Captain.

CCE captains survey their assigned blocks to report deficiencies on properties (such as trash & debris, chipping paint, deteriorates fences, roofs and yards). All new captains will be briefed and trained on the roles & responsibilities of a CCE captain at a future date. The CCE captains meet once a month with the Code Enforcement inspectors to submit their ANONYMOUS referrals. Block captains are to be discrete about their participation in CCE, and in their neighborhood reconnaissance, and should not monitor the blocks they live on.

CCE is a program sponsored by the Neighborhood Services Bureau, Redevelopment and Code Enforcement. and without the support of the local community , CCE does not work.

Please feel free to call or email me for more information.

I look forward to working with you.
