Community Planner/Code Enforcement Report ?– No Report due to conflict in schedule

CPAC Report ?– No Report due to absence of Alan
Input needed on what to do with the old recycling center
Meeting on January 22nd at 6:00 at 1900 Atlantic

Pacific Avenue Report (NAG) ?– No Report
New Businesses on Pacific; Wrigley Pets and Florists

Community Policing Report
Lt. from West Division gave report due to illnesses of Commander Quach

Program: West Patrol Commander Billy Quach, Long Beach Police Department
The Dispatchers Center gave an overview of what they do.
They explain how calls are handled and the response from the Police Department.

Christmas Tree Lane 2006 Report and Discussion
[Formation of Working Group, 501(c)(3) status] ?– Maria gave the report
A committee is being set up to create a separate Board for the Daisy Avenue Christmas activities. The Board with met three or four times a year. It will review the activities of the Christmas Tree Lane.

Council District Reports
a. 7th Council District ?– The Councilwoman thanked all the volunteers who helped with the Christmas Tree Lane events.
The park at Hill and San Francisco is almost complete. The Charter Reform meeting was discussed.
b. 6th Council District - Due to the election of Laura Richardson to the State Assembly the issues from the 6th District will be addressed by the Mayor?’s Office.
