GENERAL MEETING

Call to Order By David Carlton, Chair at 7:00 P.M.

Board Member Role Call:

* Present: Amat, Carlton, Greenwood, Herman, Hill, McDonald, McKiernan, Norvell, Pizzato, Risch, Tolkoff
* Absent: None

Approval of Minutes as Submitted:

* M/S/C June 2007 Tolkoff, McDonald

Announcements

* Commander Billy Quach and Lt. Bob Smith of the West Division spoke regarding current tactics using to stem criminal activities around Wrigley and an overview of current problems. They also reviewed plans for July 4th coverage and took questions from the audience.
* Police Service Specialist John Houck spoke on Terrorism Awareness and stressed the importance of the public maintaining vigilance.
* Dee Andrews, 6th district Councilman, introduced himself and promised support for the Wrigley Association and encouraged the members to bring their concerns to the attention of his staff.
* Mario Cordero, President of Board of Harbor Commissioners introduced himself and promised that the board will make efforts to work with the neighborhood associations.
* 7th district representative, Tim Patton, encouraged members to avail themselves of the workshops provided by the Neighborhood Resource Centers and reminded everyone of the July 20th movie night at Veterans Park.
* No public safety or community planner reports tonight.

Treasurer?’s Report?—none this month due to the change in Board officers.

50/50 Drawing -- $15.00 Won by Dee Andrews and donated to Wrigley Association.
New business
Motion by Gavin McKiernan, seconded by Colleen McDonald

?“That the membership affirm the action of the Board from March which approved separation of Daisy Christmas Tree Lane from the Wrigley Association. But the Wrigley Association to continue its close support.?”

M/S/C Carried unanimously by acclamation.
