ABOUT WOOD RUN III

Wood Run III is situated between Hoyt Way on the east, Kipling Street on the west, the Pond Lake on the North and 82nd Avenue on the south. The complex consists of 161 individual patio homes, some two-story and some ranch style, all with two car garages and with fenced back yards. All homes share a small swimming pool, playground area, and cabana in the northeast portion of our community.
Wood Run III is a covenant controlled community and is governed by an elected board of directors made up of a president, vice president, secretary/treasurer, five directors and a architectural control committee. This community was built by Wood Brothers back in the 1975-1978 period. Because of a strong board of directors, who have been willing to enforce the covenants, the properties have been maintained and have an excellent resale history. Because of the community spirit there is extremely low turnover of ownership.
There are three parks within easy walking distance of the community and Stanley Lake is also within easy walking. Standley Lake Library is just to west at 8485 Kipling Street and is easily accessed via a walkway in the north-west corner of the complex.
