Woodland Oaks Village Homeowners Association

Neighborhood questions

Posted in: Woodland Oaks Village

My wife and I are new home owners of the neighborhood and had a few questions. We wanted to know where the yearly money from the association is going. We noticed a little park, but not that much else (pool, club house etc.????). Please let us know if we missed something as we have children that would love to take advantage of the amenities . Thank you and God Bless

First of all--welcome to the neighborhood. The following information was extrated our Our Info:

Annual Maintenance Assessment

As a gated village within the City of Schertz, the Association and its members are responsible for the proper maintenance of the streets, sidewalks, perimeter fences, and common property. The HOA has recurring expenses as part of our maintenance that include: electricity used for street lighting and operation of the front gate,
telephone line used by guests to contact residents from the gate,
water and landscaping services to maintain the common grounds,
and legal and accountant fees. Additionally the Association must report to the City our financial capability to continue to pay for the maintenance of our area.
Members pay an annual assessment to the HOA to cover these expenses. The maintenance assessment is currently $405.00 per lot per year.

I assume the pool, park, clubhouse you're referring to are off Woodland Oaks Dr. Those facilities are maintained by another homeowners association--Woodland Oaks HOA and supports the residents of that association.

The City of Schertz does have a pool. You can view their information at: http://schertz.com/?p=3336

Hope this helps.
