Woodburn

Woodburn Neighborhood Watch Program

Our neighborhood is comprised of 72 homes on Rama Road, McNair Road, McKenna Court, Cabotwood Lane, Wellwood Circle, Bluebonnet Road, and Stockwood Drive. We have a quarterly newsletter and periodic events throughout the year to encourage meeting neighbors and interacting socially with young and old alike. Our Watch Program has been highly successful thanks to the participation and enthusiasm of all the neighbors in Woodburn.

About our association

Woodburn Neighborhood Watch Program

Requirements for having a City-recognized Watch program is to have at least 75% participation from all homes in the neighborhood. Each participant provides information as to names, phone, address, email, type of car(s), etc to the Block Captain. This is for security benefits if someone needs to call 911 to give the officer necessary information. Another requirement is each participant agrees to engrave their NC Driver''s License number on all assets to aid in the possible return of that asset in case of theft.

Woodburn currently has about a 90% participation from our 72 homes. In 2005, Woodburn will celebrate our 10th year as a neighborhood watch.
