Woodbridge Green Civic Association

WBGCA History

The Woodbridge Green Civic Association was created by the developer of the Woodbridge Green Subdivision, Summer & Company, about 1982. The property owners are members and entitled to elect officers. The officers meet monthly and notice of meetings are published in the WBGCA publication known at "The Woody" and distributed to the property owners. Property owners are encourage to attend the meetings.

WBGCA Activities

The WBGCA publishes a directory of all the residents. All residents are encouraged to make a tax deductable donation of at least $25.00 each year. These funds are used to maintain the subdivision entrance, the fence along Hard Road and mow the right-a-way. The Association provides a neighborhood street party, a Santa Claus event, decoration contests, a newsletter, a new residents welcoming and posters for new infants. In times of emergency the Association has provided street snow removal. The Association provides representatation to the Northwest Civic Association that assists the Columbus City Council in zoning and other matters. Finally, the Association reminds us of our responsiblities to each other to protect the lives and property of all the residents of the Woodbridge Green Subdivision.

 

About our association

Subdivision Restrictions To Be Noted

No structure other than a permanent residence shall be located on any lot without the approval of the WBGCA. This includes trailers, tents, shacks, pools, garages, tool sheds, etc. or temporary residence. No fences or walls permitted nearer to the front than the building setback lines and no chain link or wire fences permitted. All mailboxes and yard post lights are to match the original. No above ground pools.

No commerical activity is permitted. No noxious or offfensive activity is permitted. Properties are to be free of all noxious weeds, rubbish and debris. These restrictions are to be enforced by the WBGCA. In addition, no vehicles are permitted to remain unmoved on the street for 72 hours or campers or boats parked in driveways for 5 days. No unlicensed and exposed vehicles are permitted and no vehicular mechanical repairs are allowed by zoning ordinance. Finally no animals are permitted other than ordinary household pets.

Catch all restriction

No activity which may be considered noxious or offensive by reason of odor, sound, appearance or sight or which may be or become a nuisance or annoyance will be permitted on any lot nor shall anything be done within any residence, either willfully or negligently, which may be or become an annoyance or nuisance of other Owners. Upon complaint to the WBGCA the Association may seek a court order to enjoin the violator from continuing the activity under threat of contempt of court, fine and incarceration.
