Hey, turn in your neighbors

Posted in: Woodlands of Riverside

I am sure that we all want to improve our homes, and all of us want to improve our neighborhoods otherwise none of us would be typing here. The economy has hit many of us very hard and sometimes it is difficult to ‘keep up’, but there is also the concept of: ‘they without guilt through the first zoning violation’. Some people just have to complain simply because they can. It might be justified but was it really necessary?

It sounds like you live on my block and we have similar neighbors. I haven't yet been targeted for anything but I wish a few of the "bad" neighbors around me would be. Although I have no sidewalk to shovel, the lawn across the street is lucky to be mowed once a month. As for contamination of weeds. They are in violation of that as well. They had a thistle growing that was over 4 feet tall last year. Weeds in their gutters were terrible. I agree if you want Sycamore Hills, move there, but there is still having pride and upkeep of personal property and also following city laws/ codes. I'm not saying YOU were in violation, but MY neighbors and nothing was said to them. This spring, granted we have had a ton of rain, yet everyone but THEM was able to do some mowing. THEY let their grass get to almost 20 inches in height. The weeds are terrible again.
