About our association

WALNUT CREEK REORGANIZED

In August,2008 Robert and Lura Fink sent out a letter in an effort to reorganize Walnut Creek Estates Neighborhood Association, WCENA. In October we held our first meeting and approved a new set of by-laws, elected officers and now the Association is active.
We need to know our neighbors, talk to them, have get togethers with them, block parties are always fun and give opportunities to get to know your neighbors.

WCENA Notes of Interest

Some items of interest to residents of Walnut Creek Neighborhood residents:

1. Dues: Without your voluntary dues the Association cannot keep the common areas in good repair, grass cut and trimmed as well as weed control and other must do maintenance that the neighborhood is responsible for.  Dues are now being collected for the year 2013.
Have you paid your dues?

2. Crime: Some of us don’t think this is an issue! Most burglaries take place during day light hours while most of us are at work. There have been several according to the Hefner Police Station. Mail box vandalism is an ongoing problem in this neighborhood. Littering is a problem.  If you see illegal activity or suspect it...REPORT IT.

3. It has been brought to the associations attention that pet owners are not cleaning up animal feces. Please clean up your dog's feces. It is the law. Not your dog, talk to the owner, they will listen, and if you still have problems call the OKC Action Center, phone 297-2535 or fill out a form on line.

Thank you

The Association would like to THANKS to all the residences that have paid their 2013 dues.
