Hi Ignacio,
My name is Reatha Simon. I am the new President of the Council. We would love for you to stay in touch with us. In fact, we would be thrilled if you came back and took an active part in the Neighborhood Council. We meet at the Delta Senior Center still, on the third Mondays of the month. Our next meeting is on April 16. We are starting some interesting projects this year and could sure use your input.
Results of the last election can be found on the website. We have a new Board that is eager and excited about getting things done in the community. Currently we have several projects to purchase computers for Dorsey High School, Rancho Cienega Rec Center, and Vineyard Rec Center, mainly to give access to youth who do not have computers in their homes. We are also starting a massive clean-up project along the West Adams corridor.
Please join us at our next meeting and find out what else is happening and bring some friends! We serve a light snack at the meeting and some of the long time members would love to see you.
