Nashville's Night Out

Nashville's Night Out Against Crime was held on August 6th. This event coincides with the National Nigh Out, whose 18-year mission has been to provide an opportunity for neighborhood groups and neighbors to come together in a show of solidarity against crime and its effects.

Last year, VBCNA was a co-sponsor, along with Parkwood Homeowners' Association of a very large event in Parkwood Park. However, this year we did not have our own event. There were many events throughouth Metro Nashville, and all neighbors were encouraged to get involved.

Those who did not wish to actively participate were encouraged to turn their porch lights on from 7 to 8 pm.
