I walk the Village twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. I have to say that I am disappointed in many of my neighbors' driving habits.

Valleyview does not have sidewalks and people walk along the sides of the roads or are riding thier bikes in the streets. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to move over into people's yards because of cars driven by my fellow residents of Valleyview do not slow down and/or fail to move over to the other side of the road. I see cars speeding through the Village.

Children play in our streets, people walk in our streets and ride their bikes and I am astonished by the lack of courtesy shown by other residents as they barrel down the street.

Do others see a problem with the traffic on the inner streets of the Village? I am concerned that there will be a tragidy in the Village and a child will be hit by a car because of the careless driving of a resident.

The Village could begin looking at ways to control the speed of vehicles in the Village, but the Council needs to know if the residents feel that there is a problem. Please speak up if you feel that it is a problem.

All the time

I see village residents speeding down the street and running stop signs all the time, most of these residents are teenagers that live here. I have seen loaded semi trucks go through this village.
I see residents dogs and cats running all over the village, they have come in my yard and left their calling cards all the time. I am with Rozenna about residents being more respectful for their neighbors by carring a plastic bag and clean up after their dogs and make sure they are in a fenced yard. There are a lot of residents that are respectful about their pets and are fine examples. I am with you Paul that something bad is going to happen before people come forward and speak out and then it will be to late.

We live on Eldon and

it is a problem on this street. No matter the time of day or night it will be a matter of time when someone will fall victim and we also have seen heavy duty work trucks and semi trucks going thru the village coming from McKinley Ave. area just the other day I saw a truck hauling three cars on it's bed.
