Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization History

The Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization was formed in 1995 following a year-long effort with the City of Lakewood to develop a neighborhood plan for the Area included in the boundaries of Wadsworth to Sheridan Blvds. and 6th to Colfax Aves. The organization was originally registered as CSSW but an contest was held to choose a better name. At our October 1996 neighborhood open meeting, the new name of Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization was elected. The organization has seen many projects and plans become a reality to date and continues to strive to help improve the pride and image of the neighborhood.

Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization Objective

The Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization strives to keep the Molholm Area (Wadsworth to Sheridan, 6th Avenue to Colfax) one which represents a positive, community oriented atmosphere based upon building and maintaining a healthy image. Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization encourages a sense of community pride, provides a positive influence for citizens, protects the neighborhood environment from negative impacts, and maintains public open space.
