The board unanimously approved repairing the barn roof by the low bidder.

Discussions and Meeting Attendance

IN ATTENDANCE:
Tracy Aitcheson, Joe Bullock (BOD), Kelly Dipippa (BOD), Alan Lee (BOD) Liz Tuohy (BOD). [5 homes represented, 5 people present]

DISCUSSIONS:
1. Treasurer’s Report – No treasure’s update since last month. All homeowners are reminded to pay your dues by 30 September 2009.

2. Barn Lot – Joe Bullock received a bid of $2165.00 from Loudoun Valley Roofing for the barn roof repair. He is waiting on an additional bid. The bard approved repairing the roof with the lowest bidder. Tracy will deposit the check for $1270.00 received from Brethren Mutual Insurance Company to be used to help pay for the roof repair.

3. Pond – The pond was recently treated again for algae. Starting January 2010, the board will contract for additional treatments at an annual cost of $1848.00.

4. Four corners – Kelly agreed to spray for poison ivy and Joe plans to trim some of the wild tree growth at the southwest corner. There are no plans to contract for landscaping maintenance of the corners at this time.

5. Mowing – Joe contacted Chan Furr again about the need for mowing. Chan indicated he wants to remain at the barn lot and promised to mow. The board will take action to change the barter agreement and charge rent for the cost of mowing if Chan does not mow this fall.

6. Board members - Now that the Kennedy’s have moved, we have a vacancy on the board. Please consider serving as a board member. The terms of the following members are also ending in 2009: Kelly Dipippa and Alan Lee.

The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday November 10th - 7:30 at the Dipippa's home - 37400 Whitacre Lane.
