Tussing Area Coalition (TAC)

Once again the head of a devlpoment project is lomming in the mist of our community. The new project, is a three story senior residential project. The site has been identified as Tussing and Grand Haven.

While in no way do oppose the style or type of project, but this would be the fifth development in the area, the fourth with a multi-famlity designation. We must formalize a response to the City of Columbus Development Department about there irresponsible planning efforts for out community.

The impact of such a facility can only have a negative impact on area that is presently dealing with traffic flow problems, from the increase traffic of current developments, not including the project that is presently under construction.

I would have to agree with this, the infrastructure is in dire need of overhauling. Luckily we are being notified of this development, before the zoning is changed. City Council has pledge to work with us on issues like this, so we will have to make sure we are heard.

Again we have no objection to responsible growth in our area, but when housing is built and the infrastructure is stagnate, we all lose.
