Greetings Neighbors!
A couple of months ago I got a letter indicating the cost of our dues for the POA and it made me wonder. I noticed that less than half of the residents participated in this voluntary association. Well...I think the reason is that the dues are simply too high. $75 I think was the cost. Having just moved here from accross the river in the last couple of years, our dues were less than $50 per year and the POA was ALWAYS doing something for the neighborhood residents and the entrances were beautiful.
The participation there was nearly 100%.
My thought is that if we reduced the cost to under $40 or so more people will join.
Lower dues...more people....more money to do things for our neighborhood!
