The 2008 Annual Meeting was held on December 1, 2008. It was well attended by 33 residents and 24 home owners. In addition, four proxies were registered making a total of 28 of our 38 owners in attendance and voting. This is the best attended meeting of council members since the association was formed in 2003. Please begin making your plans to attend this year's meeting which is scheduled for December 7 at 7:00PM at the Eastwood Firehouse.

New board members were elected to serve, and the association announced that Judy Green, Manager of JBM Properties was retiring and our new management company would be Mulloy Properties.

For the first time since the birth of the association, the board of directors did not increase the monthly maintenance fees. This was a bold step, but considering the down-turn in the economy, it was determined that we could hold Operating Expenses to the 2007 level and yet provide the service needs of the community. This cost savings will not impact our somewhat aggressive planned Reserve Funding program instituted two years ago.
