City of Strathmoor Manor

Despite what commissioner Speelman says, I have seen many positive examples of community spirit around Strathmoor Village lately.  Seeing our mayor Vicki out there with her chainsaw and googles attacking the trees blocking the streets while the winds raged was a great start.  Seeing the extension cords strung across the streets to provide electricity to our less fortunate neighbors and seeing neighbors helping clear debris from each other property reinforced the impression.  Hopefully we will continue this trend.  In times like these, the relationships we have with our neighbors is worth a lot more than our property values.

I am fully aware of good trend in the neighborhood at large.  I my self was out there with a chainsaw.  I provided gas to my neighbot who is on a resporator.  I followed up with her to be sure that she was ok.  What I dont do is fish for compliments for doing what is right.  I dont come to commission meetings and ask to be reimbursed for doing the right thing.

And, I dont get in the way of the professionals that we hire.  The mayor may have looked good riding around with the tree service people, but just ask those same service providers if she was helping or getting in the way.

I did just that, and that is why I am making this statement without reservation.

I am all for progress for the right reasons.  VB has made is quite clear that she is not a good manager.  She may be a good friend, or neighbor, but she is not a good manager -bottom line.

And you - what's your excuse for being such a lousy neighbor and having such a sucky attitude? You are only fully aware of yourself- and even that's debateable-
