Food Pantry

A displaced worker, a grandparent raising their grandchildren, rising heath care, a person working but only earning a minimal wage. Our Food Pantry is designed to serve these people and many more who are forced to seek food assistance. Please come if you find yourself in similar situation, and know you are not alone. A volunteer is here to serve you today.

Currently, the food pantry is serving over 900 families a month! Every month over 90 families come to the food pantry for the very first time.

You allowed us to serve nearly 11,000 families in 2007 with your support!

YOU are need to provide food for families, and here are a few ways you can make sure no one in Grant County goes to bed hungry:

* Host a food drive
* Incude us on your Church, Sunday School or Civic orgainization budet
* Make a personal monetary donation (click here). We have the ability to purchase food at a reduced cost.
* Volunteer

We are in need of:
* Basic grocery items (can vegetables, soup ect...)
* Personal care items such as:
o Soap
o Toilet paper
o Toothpaste
o Shampoo

Often, our food pantry is the only bridge available between hunger and the next paycheck.

Kay's Kitchen

Kay's Kitchen is the heart of St. Martin. It averages 136 meals per day. We provide nutritious home cook meals in a welcoming, clean and respectful atmosphere. Thanks to the dedicated service of numerous volunteers, Kay's Kitchen served over 34,800 meals in 2006.

Kay's Kitchen holds a number of annual events. These include a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and a Christmas celebration. We collaborate with Calvary Baptist Church to provide over 5,000 Thanksgiving meals in Grant County, and the Christmas celebration offers a festive meal and gifts to those who may otherwise go without.

We realize the hot lunch we serve is sometimes the only meal our patrons will have that day.
