Springdale Neighborhood Association

Springdale Ammenities

Springdale is a NESCO community located between Jefferson (W)to Rural (E) and Brookside Parkway South Drive (N) to 10th Street (S). We are the home to Treasured Homes and Land Conservancy, the Urban Renovator, People's Garden, and Dewey's Garden, along with many historical properties and friendly neighbors. There will soon be a Springdale Conservancy on Jefferson street for all to relax and admire a green space.

We have many fellow friends of K.I.B. who help to keep our neighborhood clean and full of trees.

Springdale may be a small community, but it is a vibrant one.

Local businesses include the John Boner Center, Labor News, Top Ten Appliances and the Tick-Tock Lounge.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church is the primary church in our neighborhood located on 2525 E 11th Street. Paster Seth Mierow has been a big influence in the neighborhood and community.

The Missionaries of Mercy Queen of Peace is on 2424 E. 10th Street. They provide a safe, loving environment for battered women who are between homes.

On 1236 S. Rural is the Church of Jesus Christ. The pastors are Kenneth and Geraline Britt. During the school week they provide before and after school care from 6am - 6pm at God's Little One's of Faith Child Care. The phone number is 635-1779/ cell 361-3260 if you wish to have child care.
