The Sloan's Lake Citizen's Group (SLCG)

The SLCG is involved with solving the problems and addressing the concerns of its citizens. It was organized in 1977 by a small group of residents living off of West 17th Avenue near Sloans Lake Park. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Merritt Memorial Methodist Church (23rd Avenue & Irving Street).

Boundaries extend from West 29th Avenue to West 10th Avenue and from Federal Blvd. to Sheridan Blvd. Membership dues are $12 per person/family per year. Members receive monthly newsletters and a discount at the annual Pig Roast. All are welcome to attend meetings.
